Warrior Rage

by Tiviacz1337

Warrior Rage brings a kill streak to Minecraft, so that quick kills during a fight raise the player's damage and can set mobs on fire.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.18.2 – 1.21.11

What it does

Killing mobs in a short time turns on rage. After three kills within a window of 20 seconds, a rage bar starts to drain, and the player must land another kill before it empties or the streak is lost. A kill counter sits to the right of the hotbar and tracks the streak up to a default limit of 20 kills. Once the limit is reached, damage dealt to enemies sets them on fire for two seconds.

Each group of four kills in a streak adds a damage bonus of 0.5 during rage, so a streak of 20 kills gives 2.5 extra damage per hit. Flame particles appear around the player at intervals while rage is active, and that overlay can be turned off in the config. The mod is aimed at fights in dungeons, where many mobs spawn together. It is still in early development. Fabric API is required on Fabric, and Forge Config API Port is required on Forge and NeoForge. The mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and it is published for 1.18.2 – 1.21.11 under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Rage activation

Rage starts after a set number of kills inside a set time window, both values adjustable in the config.

  2. Rage bar

A bar shows how long the player has to land the next kill before the streak and its rage end.

  3. Kill counter

A counter beside the hotbar tracks the streak, with a default cap of 20 kills.

  4. Damage bonus

A flat damage bonus is added for every block of kills in the streak, and the amount is configurable.

  5. Burning hits

Once the kill cap is reached, damaging an enemy sets it on fire for two seconds.
