Vampirism Integrations
by maxanier
Vampirism Integrations is an addon for the Vampirism mod that connects it to other mods, including blood level displays and MCA villager behavior.
What it does
The addon exists to handle compatibility between Vampirism and a set of other mods. Vampirism itself is required, so it must be installed next to this addon. Several integrations depend on the other mod being present, and the addon is only useful when one or more of those mods are installed.
Integrations cover information overlays such as Jade, WTHIT and HWYLA, which show blood levels, garlic information and creature status. They also cover Minecraft Comes Alive villagers, along with cold and temperature effects from Survive and Cold Sweat, sun-free biomes from Biomes O' Plenty and Abyssalcraft, and village and guard behavior from ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village and Guard Villagers.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge across 8 game versions, 1.12.2 – 1.21.1, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. Files for 1.21.1 exist on both loaders, and the Forge beta line covers 1.20.1.
Key features
Blood level overlays
Blood levels, garlic information and creature status appear through supported information overlay mods.
MCA villager conversion
Players can drink blood from Minecraft Comes Alive villagers, and bitten villagers can be converted into vampire versions.
Angry villagers
An angry variant of MCA villagers attacks other villagers, and normal villagers turn hostile when too many of them are bitten.
Night feeding and sun avoidance
Vampires try to feed on other villagers and creatures at night and avoid sunlight in the integrated mods' terrain.
Biome and temperature effects
Sun damage is removed in certain biomes, and cold resistance from Survive or Cold Sweat is paired with reduced heat resistance.
