What it does

Cauldrons gain more interactions in this mod: a cauldron can brew potions, honey slime can be melted in one, and standing in a cauldron with milk clears status effects. A cauldron holding a fluid that got stuck can be cleaned out with a sponge. The author describes these additions as having a practical purpose while staying playful.

Unlike a brewing stand, the cauldron here needs fuel. A config option changes this, so that the cauldron must be heated, and heating can be set to speed up brewing. Players who edit recipes can use Reliable Recipe Viewer to see data-driven cauldron recipes, and McQoy is suggested for configuring the mod.

Toil and Trouble requires Fabric API and MRU. The files target 1.21 – 26.3 for Fabric and NeoForge, and the code is open source under the MIT License. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod.
