What it does

Players do not interact with MRU directly. Other mods call it for multiversioned utilities, so common logic is written once instead of being rebuilt for each release. The stated goal is to cut the platform-specific code those mods need, which would lower the maintenance work across releases.

Published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge with files for 1.19 – 26.3, including snapshot builds, the library needs Fabric API on Fabric. Either side can run it, and neither needs it, and the license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Ten other mods, among them Sounds and Fog, need it to work.
