Item Borders
by Grend
With Item Borders, colored frames appear around inventory slots so that rare items are easier to spot at a glance.
What it does
Item Borders draws colored borders on inventory slots. By default, borders are not shown for common items, and a configuration option turns them on for those as well. Borders can also be turned off on the hotbar. Colors taken from the Loot Beams mod can be carried over to the borders through an option, and automatic borders can be disabled entirely.
Manual colors can be assigned to items or tags in the client configuration, using a color name or hex code followed by a list of item paths or tags. Modded items and modded rarities are meant to work with the borders. The mod is client-side only, so the server needs nothing. It requires Fabric API, Iceberg and Prism, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across the 1.12.2 – 26.3 range, with the latest files for 1.3.3 on 26.3. The code is under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license and is not open source.
