Prism gives other mods a shared set of color tools, so a color can be animated, written as a web value or adjusted in HSV without custom code.

What it does

A library for color, Prism adds animated colors, web color values and simple HSV changes to mods that already rely on the game's base color type, without extra work. Players do not interact with the library directly; its effects show up in the mods that depend on it.

Only the player's game needs it, since it runs client-side only. On Fabric, Fabric API has to sit alongside it. Forge and NeoForge builds are published alongside Fabric across 23 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3. The license is Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0, so the code is not open source, but developers may use the library when building their mods or modpacks.
