Locator Border

by liqw

Locator Border moves the player waypoints off the edges of the locator bar, so the HUD stays clean.

FabricNeoForgeClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.6 – 26.1.2

What it does

Waypoints that would sit at the edges of the locator bar are moved inward to a border, which keeps the experience bar visible and leaves the top of the screen uncluttered. Players can still see where everyone is without the markers covering the rest of the HUD. The mod is client-side only, so a player can add it alone and a server does not need it. It requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional, and it is published for Fabric and NeoForge across the 1.21.6 – 26.1.2 range.

Key features

  1. Border placement

Waypoints that would fall outside the locator bar are pushed to its border instead of covering the screen edges.

  2. Visible experience bar

Markers no longer hide the experience bar, so that part of the HUD stays readable at all times.

  3. Locator bar layout

The locator bar keeps its layout while the waypoints move, so the rest of the interface is left alone.
