FSit
by rvbsm
With FSit installed on a server, players can sit on blocks, ride other players and crawl through holes using a double-sneak gesture.
What it does
Seats are created by interacting with the top face of a block that can be sat on. Riding works by interacting with another player, and the allowed angle between the two players' facings is set by a configurable yaw limit. A double sneak while looking down makes the player sit right away, or start crawling when a hole is nearby. Seat behaviour is chosen in the config as static, attached or moveable, which decides whether a seat survives without a supporting block and whether fluids or pistons can push it.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players can join without installing anything. Clients that also have it gain client configuration, better crawling and key bindings, and their own settings then override the server's. Key bindings for sitting (default RCtrl) and crawling (default RAlt) support Hold, Toggle and Hybrid modes. Each option can be reloaded with /fsit reload, and clients edit them through Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib when those are present.
Fabric API is required on Fabric and Quilt. Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional. The code is under the MIT License and open source, and the mod is published for 1.19 – 26.1.2 with a snapshot build line on Fabric and Quilt.
Key features
Sitting on blocks
Interacting with the top face of a suitable block starts a seat, and the allowed blocks and block tags are listed in the config.
Riding players
Players interact with another player to ride them, with a yaw limit that restricts the angle between the two.
Double-sneak gestures
A double sneak while looking down sits the player at once, while the same gesture near a hole starts crawling.
Three seat modes
Seats can be static, attached to a supporting block, or moveable, so fluids and pistons can shift them.
Key bindings and modes
Sitting and crawling have key bindings with Hold, Toggle and Hybrid modes, and the Hybrid window can be adjusted.

Use cases
Server roleplay and hubs
Server owners can let players relax, rest and move around a build with seats and rides, without any player needing the mod.
Custom seating in builds
Builders can place seats on stairs, slabs and other top faces, choosing whether those seats stay put when a block below changes.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want sitting and riding available to all players, and players who want client-side options such as their own key bindings.
