Carpet Ilmater Addition is a Carpet extension for Fabric and Quilt servers that adds Ilmater-themed survival features, crying obsidian portals, goat horn glowing and time-based cooldowns.
What it does
Carpet Ilmater Addition works through Carpet, which must be installed alongside it. Servers can allow crying obsidian to frame Nether portals, show each player's current dimension in the player list, and apply a glowing effect to raiders when a player uses a goat horn. Holding a recovery compass makes dropped items in view distance glow, so they can be spotted before they despawn, and only the player holding the compass sees the glow.
Vault rewards in trial chambers can be placed on a cooldown. Time values can be written in complex forms such as 2h30m, where 1d is a real-time day and 1c is a daylight cycle of 20 minutes. Each setting is a Carpet-style rule, so a server owner can adjust it or leave it off. The mod runs on the server only, so players join without installing anything.
Files are published for Fabric and Quilt for game versions 1.21.4 – 1.21.8, with the latest file, 1.1.1+mc1.21.6, targeting 1.21.8. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, and source code and an issue tracker are public.
