Sit!
by Oth3r
With Sit!, players can sit on stairs, slabs and carpets by default, and any other block once the config allows it.
What it does
Sit! lets a player sit on a block. Stairs, slabs and carpets are sittable out of the box, and other blocks can be added through the config. Hand restrictions keep a player from sitting down by accident, and each player can set their own.
The mod runs on the server, so players join without installing it. Clients running Sit! can use their own hand settings when they sit on a Sit! server. Bedrock players connecting through Geyser can sit with Java players. The full config is handled by OtterLib, and Fabric API is required.
Sit! is published for Fabric and Quilt across 24 release versions, 1.20 – 26.3, with snapshot builds included. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
