Fabric Seasons: Extras

by D4rkness_King

Fabric Seasons: Extras adds greenhouse blocks, redstone and calendar items to the Fabric Seasons mod, so crops can be grown in any season.

FabricClient and serverMozilla Public License 2.0Open source1.19.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

Seasons affect crop growth, and this addon supplies four blocks for building greenhouses with their own microclimates. Greenhouse Glass and Tinted Greenhouse Glass work passively, one warming and one cooling. Crop Heater and Crop Chiller are active machines that raise or lower the temperature by up to three levels. A Crop Season Tester item, craftable for use while building, shows which season is currently affecting a right-clicked block.

Other additions are a Season Detector, a redstone component that emits a signal according to the current season and its own configuration, and a Season Calendar item that shows season progress and the number of days left until the next one. Fabric Seasons adds no items or blocks on its own, so this mod supplies that content. Fabric API and Fabric Seasons are both required, and the mod is published only for the Fabric loader.

A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 across six release versions, and the latest file is 1.3.3-BETA+1.21 for 1.21.1, a beta build. The code is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the source code and issue tracker are linked publicly.
