KSit
by Snownee
KSit lets players sit on stairs, slabs and other blocks, and a data-driven tag decides which blocks can be used as seats.
What it does
Seats are set up through a block tag named kiwi:sittable. Any block listed in that tag can be sat on, and the height of the seat is detected automatically from the block shape. Installing it needs Kiwi, which is required on every loader. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing anything. KSit is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with builds covering 1.20 – 26.1.2.
Key features
Sitting on stairs and slabs
Stairs, slabs and other blocks can be used as seats once they are placed in the sittable tag.
Data-driven seat list
The set of usable blocks is defined through a block tag, so server owners can change it without code.
Automatic seat height
The height of each seat is detected from the block itself, so players sit at a natural position.

Sitting on a bed is a bit different as you need to stand far enough away from it. In the configuration file, any block type can be disabled as a seat. Furthermore…
