Jade Addons extends the Jade block-information overlay with support for contraptions, blaze burners, crafting blueprints, placards and IO filters.

What it does

Jade reads a block under the crosshair and shows its details. This add-on teaches Jade to read more kinds of blocks and items, so the overlay covers contraption blocks, blaze burner fuel, crafting blueprint results and placard contents. It also corrects how Jade picks a target on a contraption and stops ignoring curved track.

Jade is required, so it must be installed next to Jade Addons. Either side can run the add-on, and neither needs it. Files target Fabric and Quilt, and the latest build, 26.0.1+fabric, is for 26.1.2 and dates from 2026-08-31. Jade Addons is first published on 2022-12-10 and carries the All rights reserved license, so it is not open source. Its source code and issue tracker are public.

  1. Contraption block lookup

    Ray-casting on a contraption returns the actual block at that spot, not an approximation.

  2. Contraption inventory

    Jade shows the inventory of a contraption when it is inspected.

  3. Blaze burner fuel

    The overlay reports the fuel a blaze burner holds and how it is used.

  4. Crafting blueprint results

    A crafting blueprint shows the item it will produce when the overlay points at it.

  5. Placard contents

    A placard shows the item it displays, so players can read it without opening the block.

  6. IO filter information

    Filters on IO blocks are described in the overlay.
