Etherology

by Faradey

Etherology is a Fabric magic mod that adds a magic system built on an ether-based science, with its own items, blocks and progression for players to discover.

FabricClient and serverGNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or laterOpen source1.21 – 1.21.1

What it does

Players work through the mod's magic as a discovery process: the ether and its effects are learned in the world rather than through a fixed path. The content covers new items, blocks and world features, and it relies on several libraries to run. Every required dependency must be installed beside it: Biolith, Cardinal Components API, Fabric API, Geckolib, Shield Lib, Trinkets and oωo (owo-lib).

A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Fabric only, with builds for 1.21 and 1.21.1 and the latest file, 1.21-0.1.7 for 1.21.1, released on 2025-02-09 on the beta channel. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or later, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
