Cobblemon Counter
by tmetcalfe89
Cobblemon Counter keeps per-species tallies of captures, knock-outs, resurrections, fish-ups, egg hatchings and snack eating for each player in a world.
What it does
Each stat is tracked two ways: a lifetime count for the player in a given world, and a streak that resets when the player performs the same action on a different species or form. Chat messages report the updated numbers after each event, so players can follow their progress without opening a screen.
The mod needs Cobblemon, Cobblemon Tim Core and, on Forge, Kotlin for Forge. It is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge builds target 1.21.1. Five other catalog mods require it, among them Cobblemon Unchained and Cobblemon Spawn Chaining.
Key features
Capture counts and streaks
Captures of each species or form are counted, and a streak continues only while the player keeps catching that same species.
In-battle knock-out tracking
Knock-outs of wild Pokémon are recorded per species, alongside their own streak values.
Resurrections and fish-ups
Resurrections and fish-ups are logged as separate stats, each with its own count and streak.
Egg hatchings and snack eating
Egg hatchings and nearby Pokémon eating a snack are included, so less common actions also show up in the tallies.

Use cases
Testing the counters
The author describes a short test in a fresh world: catch a Caterpie, then a Weedle, to see how a streak breaks while the lifetime count keeps rising.
Who it’s for: Players who want a record of their Cobblemon activity in a single world, and server owners who want to see the same tallies on a shared world.
How it compares

What the author says
…the game kept track of how many times you did a thing, in Cobblemon? As a quick test for the counting functionality, jump into a fresh world and give yourself some Master Balls. Spawn in a Caterpie, catch it. Observe the message in the chat telling you that you have captured a Caterpie, and have a Capture Count of 1…
