Cobblemon Unchained
by tmetcalfe89
Players who want rarer Cobblemon encounters can use Cobblemon Unchained, a server-side add-on that boosts Hidden Abilities, shininess and perfect IVs during spawning, fishing and egg hatching.
What it does
Cobblemon Unchained changes the odds of certain results when a Pokémon appears. Hidden Abilities can spawn naturally in the wild, and defeating or capturing nearby Pokémon can raise the shiny rate of later spawns around the player. The same bonuses can also grant perfect IVs to nearby spawns.
The bonuses apply depending on the context in which a Pokémon appears: spawning in the wild, being fished up by a player, or hatching from an egg. Server owners and testers can adjust the boosters in the mod's configuration, where a debug setting prints feedback about why a booster did or did not apply.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it. It requires Cobblemon, Cobblemon Counter, Cobblemon Tim Core and Kotlin for Forge on Forge and NeoForge. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with game versions 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, and it is open source under the MIT License.
