Beacon Aura
by MagicJinn
Beacon Aura is a Fabric server-side mod that changes how beacons work, extending their range, effect duration and level scaling.
What it does
Beacon Aura lets a beacon's effects build up and stack over time, so a player who leaves the radius can keep benefiting from effects long after stepping away. Duration per beacon level and the speed at which effects build up can both be set, and a maximum duration in minutes per level caps how long an effect lasts.
The beacon radius grows from the default 10 blocks up to 32 per level, and the base range and the level-based increase can be adjusted separately. Effect range also reaches down to bedrock and up to the build limit, independent of height. Beacon particles can be turned off completely.
Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib are optional dependencies for editing the settings in game, and the values can also be changed directly in config\beacon-aura.json. Players join without it, since only the server has to run the mod. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and runs on the 1.21 – 26.3 range with Fabric.
Key features
Extended effect duration
Effects gain a set number of seconds per beacon level, and the total duration is capped by a per-level maximum in minutes.
Adjustable beacon range
Both the base radius and the per-level range increase can be set, with the default growing from 10 toward 32 blocks per level.
Height-independent range
Coverage no longer stops at a fixed height: the beacon's range reaches from bedrock to the top of the build limit, so a beacon placed at any depth still covers the area above and below it.
Beacon particles toggle
Beacon particles can be disabled completely for a cleaner look around the block.

What the author says
Beacons are some of the hardest items to obtain, but they feel underwhelming and are only circumstantially useful. Beacon Aura solves this by allowing you to soak in the beacon's effects while within its range, stacking duration over time, so you can enjoy their effects long after you leave their radius. The speed…
