Anthropophagy

by MoriyaShiine

Anthropophagy lets players eat their own flesh, with a knife that turns mob drops into food.

FabricNeoForgeQuiltClient and serverAll rights reserved1.16.5 – 26.3

What it does

The mod adds an alternate food source that many players will find dubious: flesh can be eaten, and a new knife recipe made from planks, cobblestone, iron, gold and diamond opens a way to obtain food from entities. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 28 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, under All rights reserved; the code is not open source. Required dependencies are Fabric API, Forgified Fabric API, Launchpad and StrawberryLib.

Key features

  1. Alternate food source

Flesh becomes an edible food item, giving a new source of nourishment alongside regular food.

  2. Knife weapon

A new knife is a weaker sword that deals less damage, reduces attack reach and attacks faster.

  3. Automatic cooking

The knife turns mob drops into flesh and cooks it automatically, and entity fire drops can be configured.

What the author says

Adds a new way of obtaining food: people! This mod adds a new type of weapon: the knife. It deals less damage than swords and reduces your attack reach, but they attack faster. Another function of the knife is that attacking valid entities with it will make them drop flesh, and it will automatically cook it if the…
