MidnightLib is a configuration library for mods, providing a lightweight config system that other mods can build on.

What it does

Mods that depend on MidnightLib use it to read and write their settings through one shared system instead of each shipping its own. Installing it is needed only when another mod asks for it. Fabric API is required, and the library runs on the client, the server, or both, so either side can carry it while neither strictly needs it. Files cover Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 34 game versions 1.17 – 26.3, released under the MIT License as open source.
