TslatEntityStatus
by Tslat
Entity health, name, armour and other status details appear on mobs in the world through TslatEntityStatus, a HUD-style and overhead interface that shows damage and healing as floating particles.
What it does
Entity status information is shown in two places: a HUD-style panel and an in-world overhead display above each entity. Damage and healing are marked with pop-off particles, and from 1.20 onward those particles can take the colour of the team the entity belongs to. Each facet of information, such as the name, health or armour and toughness, is a separate element, so each one can be shown or hidden.
Almost all of the display is configurable from the config screen, and the mod exposes its systems to other mods so that they can configure or use them. The mod runs on the client, and the server can stay without it. Potion icons are the exception: they appear only when the server also runs the mod and has potion icons enabled in its config.
TslatEntityStatus requires Fabric API and MidnightLib on Fabric, and MidnightLib on Forge and NeoForge. Mod Menu is optional and adds a config entry point on Fabric. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 29 game versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the code is under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Use cases
Combat readouts
Players who want to track mob health during fights can keep the HUD panel visible while they attack.
Modpack displays
Pack authors can choose which facets appear and tune them in the config, to fit the look of a pack.
Who it’s for: Players who want more information about mobs in the world, and pack makers who need a configurable status display. Because the mod is client-side, server owners can add it without requiring players on their server to change anything else.
