Ytones
by Fuzs
With Ytones, players can build with dozens of stone-like block sets in futuristic and fantasy styles, each set offering 16 variations.
What it does
Ytones adds a large family of decorative building blocks in a modern, futuristic fantasy style. The blocks come as stone-like sets, and each set includes 16 variations, so a builder can change the look of a wall, floor or roof without leaving the same material. Base blocks are crafted from a key ingredient, and a stonecutter gives access to the variations.
The mod is a continuation of the Xtones line and suits sci-fi labs, modern city builds and survival bases that should not look like early-era blocks. Players switch between variations with a cycle key: the default keys G and H step through styles, and holding Alt while scrolling does the same. A configurable hotbar key swaps the hotbar slot to the chosen style instantly, which keeps menus out of the building flow.
Ytones is open source under the MIT License and runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. It requires Fabric API on Fabric, Forge Config API Port and Puzzles Lib. Forge Config Screens is optional and is needed for older Minecraft versions. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.10 with 11 release versions, and snapshot builds are not listed.
