Yama Copper Pressure Plates adds copper pressure plates that react only to players, so mobs and items cannot trigger them.
What it does
Each plate weathers through the vanilla copper stages, from unaffected to oxidized, and can be waxed with a honeycomb to hold its current state. Waxed plates are restored to the unwaxed form by scraping them with an axe, as with vanilla copper blocks. Crafting a plate combines a copper block-style recipe with honeycomb at a crafting table, which keeps the cost low.
The plates suit secure house entrances and any build where a door or trap should open only for players, since zombies, villagers and other mobs leave them untouched. Right-clicking a waxed plate with a honeycomb in hand follows the same procedure as other copper blocks. Fabric and NeoForge builds are published on the same release line, and Architectury API and Fabric API are required dependencies on both loaders.
Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Source code and an issue tracker are public, and the code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which makes it open source. Files cover 11 release versions, 1.21.1 – 26.3, and the latest file for both loaders is 1.5.0 for 26.3, published 2026-09-23.
