Player Plates adds obsidian and mossy cobblestone pressure plates that react to different entities, so a trap can target only players or only items and mobs.

What it does

Two new pressure plates are added. The obsidian variant is triggered only by players able to withstand TNT, while the mossy cobblestone variant is triggered only by items and mobs. Because each plate ignores the other group, a single floor layout can sort who or what passes over it.

The mod requires Fabric API on Fabric. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files cover 25 release versions 1.12.2 – 26.1.2 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is not open source, released with all rights reserved.

    Triggers only for players, and only those able to withstand TNT blast damage in the design.

    Triggers only for dropped items and mobs, so players can walk across it without setting it off.

  3. Entity-specific triggering

    The two plates split what they react to, letting one layout separate players from items and mobs.
