Better Worlds - Map Finder

Players who want to try custom maps can open a browser inside the singleplayer menu, which lists available worlds and installs them with one click.
What it does
The mod replaces the normal world list with a browser that shows previews, descriptions, trailer and source links for available maps. Each world is listed with useful information about the save, and short-cut actions let a player open, install or manage it without leaving the screen. Maps can be installed with one click from the game, and the install prompt can send players to the map's Modrinth page, where the author receives revenue.
Worlds can carry their own resource packs. The mod loads a pack from the world folder, binds it to the world so it loads on entry and unloads on exit, and extracts packs from packaged worlds. Map authors can also add editing options and world features that the browser exposes. The mod scans installed dependencies, such as mods a world requires, and reports them in the world's entry. The screen design takes cues from ModMenu.
The mod runs on the client only, so a player installs it and a server does not need it. It is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, with the source code and issue tracker public. Files target 1.21.1 for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and snapshot builds up to 26.3 are published for the same loaders. Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and KotlinLangForge are required for the mod to run.

How it compares
Simple Resource Loader is a Fabric and Quilt library for resource packs, and it is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. It works on either side, and neither side needs it. Improved Maps is a Fabric-only mod under the MIT License, for 1.21.5 – 26.3, and it is open source too. It needs to run on the server, while a client may leave it out. It does not provide a map browser.
