Simple Resource Loader
by Patbox
Simple Resource Loader lets a modpack load resource packs and data packs from a few fixed folders, with no configuration file to edit.
What it does
Placing a pack in one folder makes it load as both a resource pack and a data pack, while placing it in another folder adds it only as a resource pack that players can switch off. The mod is published for Fabric and Quilt, with builds for 1.21 – 26.3 and 1.1.0+26.1 as the latest Fabric file. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. The code is under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the source is public.
Key features
Always-loaded packs
Packs placed in the required common folder load as both resource and data packs every time the game starts.
Toggleable resource packs
Packs placed in the optional resource pack folder appear as resource packs that players can enable or disable.
No configuration
The loader is set up by folder layout alone, so there is no option screen or config file to maintain.
Compatibility

What the author says
For example, if you put a pack in resources/common/required/, it will always load as both resource pack and data pack, but resources/resourcepack/optional/ will add it as only a toggleable resource pack.
