With Universal Shops, a server owner places a trade shop block on any container and sets its stock and price without commands.

What it does

The mod adds a craftable Trade Shop block for players and an Admin Trade Shop for admins and map makers. Both are set up the same way: a shop is placed against a container, on top of it or on its side, and a Shop Settings screen opens to choose the sold item, the price and optional hopper support or hologram display. Settings are changed by clicking the matching item, and an item held on the cursor is copied into a slot.

The shop checks the Common Protection API before it reads the source chests or containers, so the owner has access to them. Using a compatible protection mod such as GOML or HTM is suggested. Once the stock is placed in the container, other players can buy from the shop by opening it and taking the sold item, with shift moving it straight into the inventory.

The mod needs Polymer. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it and it also works in single-player. It is published for Fabric and Quilt across 27 release versions, 1.19.2 – 26.3, and is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the source code is open source.
