What Are They Up To shows whether other players are typing, open in a GUI, or idle, and can draw small in-game indicators for those states.

What it does

The mod tracks a player's activity state, such as typing in chat, having a screen open, or being idle, and shares that state with other players so it can be displayed. The visual indicators are drawn in game. Each feature can be turned off on the client, so anything a player is not comfortable sending to the server is not sent.

Idle-state notices in chat are off by default. The mod requires CoroUtil on all loaders and runs client and server. Fabric, Forge and NeoForge builds are released across 12 versions, covering 1.16.5 – 1.21.4, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.

What the author says

If you aren't comfortable with any of the stuff the client sends to the server, you can disable each feature as you please on the client side so it isn't sent. Notifying idle states in chat is default off.
