by the_number_two

[Cobblemon] Trainer Accessories adds Fabric accessories that raise spawn chances, catch rates and IVs for Cobblemon players on 1.21.1.

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

Accessories are obtained from Pokémon battles and defeats, with drop rates that differ by source. The Chipped Relic Coin comes from Gimmighoul at 5%, and the Key Ring from Klefki at 10%. Charms are also found through two routes: a lucky KO against a Pokémon, with roughly 0.5% for common charms and 0.1% for rare ones, and suspicious gravel near ruins, Gimmighoul chests or Ancient City chests.

Orb charms give large, targeted IV boosts that help a player secure a chosen stat up to a set number of IVs. Obtaining orbs takes longer: nine orb shards are crafted into an empty orb, and shards drop from Gimmighoul at a 5% chance, or are supplied from one rare source. Once an orb is crafted, its tooltip tracks the chosen stat and its milestones, and orb benefits increase as those milestones are reached. Six orbs of one stat allow a final orb that gives a flat IV increase.

The mod requires Accessories, Cobblemon, Geckolib and [Cobblemon] TrainerAttributesLib. It runs on the client and server, so both sides need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.

Key features

  1. Spawn and catch boosts

Accessories raise spawn chances, IVs and catch rates, each tied to the source it was obtained from.

  2. Drop-based accessories

The Chipped Relic Coin and Key Ring drop from specific Pokémon at fixed rates.

  3. Charms from battles and ruins

Common and rare charms come from lucky KOs and from suspicious gravel and chests in ruins.

  4. Stat-targeted orbs

Each orb is colored to match an EV training item and tracks one stat through milestones that raise its benefit.

What the author says

There are two ways of obtaining charms, the first is to get lucky when KO'ing a Pokemon (whether through battle or not) with a roughly 0.5% and 0.1% chance for common and rare charms respectively. The second method is obtaining a common or a rare charm capsule; these appear in suspicious gravel at or near ruins…
