Thermal Construct
Thermal Construct adds Tinkers' Construct materials drawn from the Thermal mods, so players can build tools and armor from them.
What it does
The mod adds new materials to Tinkers' Construct through Tinkers Compat Thermal Expansion, and they can be used in tool and armor building like the materials already in that mod. Several of them are made by pouring bone-based liquids such as basalz, blitz and blizz bone through a casting setup. Soul infused material is included as well.
Thermal Construct depends on Thermal Expansion, Thermal Integration, Mantle and Tinkers' Construct, all of which are required. Thermal: Extra is optional and adds further material support when it is present. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker. Forge is the only loader, and builds cover 1.20.1 only.
The latest Forge file is 1.20.1-0.0.5, published on 2026-09-17. The first release came out on 2025-06-05, and the mod is actively maintained.

Use cases
Tinkers' Construct packs
Modpacks that already use Tinkers' Construct can add Thermal materials without changing the tool system.
Who it’s for: Players who build with Tinkers' Construct and want Thermal materials in their tools and armor, and server owners running a Thermal-based pack on Forge 1.20.1.
How it compares
JATiCA is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 under the MIT License and is open source; it runs on client and server, like Thermal Construct. Tinker's Vein Miner is also Forge for 1.20.1 with client and server environment, but its license is JSON and it is not open source. Tinker Material Table is open source under the MIT License for Forge 1.20.1, but it is client-side only, so servers do not need it.
