The Deep Void: Curios
by Sombrius
The Deep Void: Curios adds fifteen Deep Void baubles to the Curios slot system, each with a set of gains and drawbacks attached to the wearer.
What it does
The add-on requires Curios API and The Deep Void, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1 and 1.20.6, with 1.0 as the latest file for each loader. The mod is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
Each bauble is a worn item with its own effects. Some raise damage dealt while blinding the wearer, some can negate incoming damage with a chance that wilts over time, and some sprout spores that poison attackers and the wearer alike. Others slow the wearer on the ground, let them stick to ceilings, or turn nearby entities passive until they are provoked.
Key features
Fifteen Deep Void baubles
Fifteen new baubles go into the Curios slots, including the Necrosed Skin Blindfold, Wilting Flower and Voidrium Charm.
Trade-off effects
Every bauble pairs a benefit with a penalty, such as more experience alongside increased exhaustion.
Lethal damage protection
The Voidrium Charm can save the wearer from a lethal hit, but leaves them unable to move or attack for a while.
Damage and defense changes
Several baubles alter incoming and outgoing damage, including delayed damage and negated knockback.
Mob behavior effects
The Hunter Belt makes nearby mobs more aggressive, while the Thorns Crown makes worn entities passive unless provoked.

Use cases
Curios-based builds
Players who already run Curios can equip these baubles in their existing slots and combine them with other accessories.
Who it’s for: Players who want the Deep Void theme inside a Curios setup, and server owners whose players already use Curios baubles.
How it compares
Roleplayer's Baubles is a Forge and NeoForge bauble mod for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, and it is not open source. Tenebrus Baubles is Forge only, limited to 1.20.1, and also not open source. Both run on client and server, like The Deep Void: Curios, which is not open source and is limited to 1.20.1 and 1.20.6.
