Swappy
by karlsson1000
Swappy lets a player save item presets on a wheel and switch between them with the Z key and the number keys 1-9.
What it does
Holding Z opens a wheel of saved item presets, and the number keys 1 through 9 select one directly. A preset is built from the item the player is holding, added to a slot with the plus control, and removed with Shift and a left click. Presets can be renamed, with names for all nine slots.
An opening animation plays when the wheel appears. Items already owned are counted live across the whole inventory, so a preset shows how many of its item remain. Options cover the size of the wheel, its tooltips, sounds, background dimming and a toggle mode for the hold behavior. The mod needs Fabric API and Cloth Config for its settings. It is client-side only, so a server needs nothing installed, and it is published for Fabric alone under the MIT License, though the code is not open source in the catalog's classification.
Key features
Wheel of item presets
Saved item presets appear on a wheel that opens while Z is held, with the number keys selecting slots 1 to 9.
Live item counts
Each preset shows how many of its item are held anywhere in the inventory, updated as the stacks change.
Preset names
Nine presets can each carry a custom name, so the wheel stays readable with several item sets.

Use cases
Switching tools mid-task
A player who alternates between a pickaxe, a sword and a bucket can store each set on the wheel and swap without opening the inventory.
Quick restocking
With the item counts shown, a player can see at a glance how much of a preset item remains in the inventory.
Who it’s for: Players who switch between many item sets often and want a faster way to swap than the hotbar or inventory screen allows.
