Inventory Presets

by Rizzardas

Inventory Presets saves an inventory layout so a player can restore it later, with one key press putting each item back in its saved slot.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.4 – 26.3

What it does

Players set up an inventory once and store it as a preset: a mining run, a PvP kit, or a building palette. Loading a preset uses ordinary inventory clicks, and it restores items exactly where they were left, including the roughly sorted sword slots. Presets persist across sessions, so the layout is still there after a restart and the player does not have to rebuild it from memory.

Presets can be renamed, edited, reordered and managed from one screen. A Single Preset Mode switch turns the whole mod off for players who want a simpler setup. The mod runs on Fabric and requires Fabric API. It is client-side only, so a server joined by a player does not need it, and it works on servers without any server-side install. Files cover 1.21.4 – 26.3, and the code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Saved inventory layouts

Each preset records item slots, so a loadout such as a PvP kit or a mining run comes back in its exact arrangement.

  2. One-key restore

Pressing J snaps an item back to the exact slot saved in the active preset.

  3. Editing and management

Presets can be renamed, edited and reordered from a single management screen.

  4. Single Preset Mode

A switch reduces the mod to one saved layout for players who prefer a simpler setup.

What the author says

You know the ritual. You die, you trek back, and then you spend two minutes rebuilding your hotbar from memory — sword here, blocks there, wait, where did the ender pearls go? Inventory Presets remembers so you don't have to. Press J, and every item snaps back to the exact slot you saved it in. Every time.
