Crafter Presets

by Rizzardas

Crafter Presets lets players save a crafter's 3×3 recipe once, then load it into any crafter with a single click.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.4 – 26.3

What it does

Presets are designed and renamed in a visual 3×3 grid editor that can be opened from anywhere, so a recipe does not need a crafter placed to be built. Saved presets are listed and can be renamed or managed, and they persist across sessions. Presets saved by the earlier v2 format migrate automatically when the mod loads.

Loading is done from the crafter itself: a player opens the crafter, picks a saved layout, and the grid is applied and the GUI closes on its own. A progress glance shows which crafters are still loaded, which helps when several are set up in a row. The mod is Fabric only and is client-side only, so a server does not need to install it, but Fabric API is required next to it.

Installation uses the Fabric loader on game versions 1.21.4 – 26.3, with 13 release versions in that range. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source, and its first file was published on 2026-03-26.

Key features

  1. Visual 3×3 grid editor

A grid editor lets a player build a crafting recipe by clicking the nine slots, then save it as a named preset.

  2. One-click loading

A saved preset is applied to a crafter with a single click, and the interface closes after the layout is written.

  3. Preset management

Saved presets can be renamed, organized and removed from one place in the mod's tabbed settings screen.

  4. Silent mode

An option suppresses the sounds that play when slots are clicked, which is useful when many crafters are loaded in sequence.

  5. Keybind access

A key press opens the preset screen from anywhere, so a player can design recipes without walking to a crafter.

Questions

Does Crafter Presets require Fabric API?

Yes. Fabric API is a required dependency, so it must be installed next to Crafter Presets on Fabric.

Does a server need Crafter Presets installed?

No. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

Can presets from the older version be used?

Yes. Presets saved in the v2 format migrate automatically when the mod loads, and newer presets persist across sessions.

What the author says

You built the farm. 400 crafters, one recipe and now the fun part: clicking the same 3×3 pattern into every single one. Slot by slot. Crafter by crafter. Crafter Presets turns all of that into: open the Crafter. That's it. Your saved layout snaps in, the GUI closes itself, and you're already walking to the next block.
