Spellblades and Such
Spellblades and Such adds spellblades, claymores and magic orbs to Spell Engine, each carrying its own pool of spells.
What it does
Spellblades are melee weapons that add extra damage of the matching spell attribute and can host close-range spells that cast quickly. Claymores add the full attribute as damage, cannot be dual wielded, and come with a spin attack of their element, while magic orbs add little damage but carry spells with wide area or high versatility. A Spell Binding Table, surrounded by bookshelves in the same arrangement an Enchantment Table uses, is where a spell gets attached to a spellblade or another spell host.
The mod also adds Runic Armor, which raises damage for its damage type and grants absorption that grows with the number of pieces worn. A Hexblade faction can invade based on recent magic damage, with a scout offering a way out. The Primordial set and the Magus boss are part of the same system. The gamerule hexbladeInvade can be set to false to disable invasions.
The mod requires AzureLib, Extra RPG Attributes, Runes, Spell Engine, Spell Power Attributes and playerAnimator. It runs on Fabric for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 and is released under the MIT License, so the source code is open source. Its latest file, 2.1.0+1.21.1, was published on 2025-04-16.

What the author says
To put spells on your Spellblade or other spell host, put the item in a Spell Binding Table with bookshelves around it like an Enchantment Table. A cheaper way to get Rune Ingots involves casting spells with the corresponding block of metal....
