Invocations
Invocations combines three basic spells into one stronger spell, with the result set by the power each basic spell adds.
What it does
Three basic spells do nothing on their own. They act as a code: each one raises the power by a set amount, and the spell that fires depends on the total. The longer and more intricate cast is what makes the stronger invocations worth the effort, and the list of available invocations is shown in the mod's images.
Invocations requires Wizards (RPG Series), which brings its own dependencies. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.3.1+1.21.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest file. The code is under the MIT License and is open source.
An earlier build note in the description says that players having trouble with spellblades should update to at least version 0.0.7.
Key features
Three-spell invocations
Three basic spells are combined in sequence, and the total power selects which invocation is cast.
Unbound Invocations book
The Unbound Invocations book shuffles through the list of invocations at random, and the player picks one while it cycles.
Semi-random playstyle
Because the next spell is not known until it is picked, casting becomes less predictable from one fight to the next.
Listed invocations
The mod's images show the available invocations, including the Volatile Meteorite Fragment, numbered VIII.

Use cases
Combat casting
Players who want longer spell sequences can build invocations from three basic spells rather than casting single spells.
Random spell selection
Players who like not knowing their next spell can use the Unbound Invocations book to shuffle through the options.
Who it’s for: Players who already run Wizards (RPG Series) and want a spell system built on combining basic casts. Server owners need to install it on the server as well as on each client.
