SpawnerHUD
SpawnerHUD shows the mob a monster spawner produces in a small readout while the player looks at the block.
What it does
Point the crosshair at a monster spawner within range and a compact label opens in the upper-left of the display. It reads the mob the spawner shows, such as a spinning entity inside the cage, so a player can tell at a glance whether a dungeon spawner is worth keeping before breaking it. Spawners that show no mob, or are not yet configured, are reported as empty or unconfigured. The label appears only while the crosshair is on the spawner, and it respects the F1 hide HUD setting and open screens.
The mod reads the spawner's displayed mob on the client side, from the monster spawner block entity, so server commands and newly placed blocks are covered without any server changes. Monster Spawner confirms when the player is looking at a spawner, and the readout can be toggled on or off with the O key, with an action-bar message confirming the state. Files are built for Fabric and run on the client alone, using the Fabric API as the required dependency.
Key features
Crosshair readout
A small readout in the top-left corner names the mob a spawner produces when the crosshair points at it.
Empty and unconfigured spawners
Spawners with no mob set are shown as empty or unconfigured, so they are not mistaken for working ones.
Toggle with O
The readout can be switched on or off with the O key, and an action-bar message confirms the new state.
Respects the HUD
The readout hides with F1 and stays out of view while another screen is open, keeping the interface clean for dungeon exploration.
