Simple FaQi, a Forge mod for 1.16.5, adds a set of simple magical tools crafted from Raw Qi, a material made with a smelting process from common blocks and ores.
What it does
Raw Qi is the core material of the mod. It is produced in a Qi Forge, which is crafted with a blast furnace, a smoker, smooth stone slabs and cobblestone walls, and it is the required ingredient for every tool in the set. The mod's name, Fa Qi, translates to magical tools, and the recipes reflect that focus on items rather than blocks or mobs.
Each tool grants a status effect while it is carried or held. A leaf parasol gives slow falling when held, Thousand Miles Boots give speed when carried, and the Leap Stone gives jump boost and double jump when carried. The Water Shed grants conduit power and the Fire Shed grants fire resistance, both when carried. Because the tools are crafted with ordinary materials, a player can reach them in survival progression without any other mod.
Simple FaQi is a Forge build for 1.16.5 only, with a single file, 0.1.0, published on the beta channel on 2024-12-26. It runs on client and server, and the server and every player need it. The mod is licensed under the Apache License 2.0 and is not open source.
