Sakura Lib
by noah1510
Sakura Lib is a Fabric library for data generation that layers owo-lib and ARRP together, and it also tracks mod versions in singleplayer worlds.
What it does
Sakura Lib is built on top of owo-lib and ARRP. Its main purpose is to make data generation for Minecraft mods simpler, and it provides a unifying layer over both libraries. Features that players may find useful are included as well, such as a mod version tracker for singleplayer worlds.
The version tracker warns when a world was used with an older or newer version of a mod, and when a mod has been removed from a world. The config can also warn about updates. The mod adds a field to fabric.mod.json that sets the format version of the mod, and the tracker relies on that field to allow datafixing in the future. Automatic data generation registration is also enabled by the library.
Installation needs Fabric Loader, Fabric API, owo-lib and ARRP. Mod Menu, Numismatic Overhaul and Patchouli are optional. Sakura Lib runs on the client and the server, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the code is open source. Builds cover 1.20 – 1.20.4, with snapshot builds also published.

Worlds record the mods they were played with, and the tracker reports changes when a mod is updated, downgraded or removed.

Who it’s for: The library suits mod developers who use owo-lib and ARRP, and players who want to be warned when a singleplayer world's mod versions change.
