ARRP but it's Different but it's Still ARRP
With ARRP Different, developers generate assets and data at runtime and expose them to the game as runtime resource packs, a fork of the ARRP library for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt.
What it does
The library lets mods create assets and data while the game runs, instead of shipping them as files. The generated content is packed into fake resource packs that sit second-last in the stack, so other resource packs can still override them. Runtime Resource Packs created by mods cannot override resources that other mods provide, but they can override Minecraft's own resources. Fabric also exposes events, while NeoForge currently supports only the BeforeUser stage.
This fork changes the internal systems that the original ARRP used, and it adds NeoForge support alongside Fabric, with one small piece of code translating between the two. The generators match those of the original ARRP, with a few small syntax differences. Because the mod is still in beta, bug reports are requested through the issue tracker. Generated content suits mods with large amounts of dynamic, mod-dependent item generation. Resource pack creators who want to add support for generated resources can refer to the resource dumping page.
Client and server means both the server and every player need the library, so it must be installed on both sides. Installation requires Fabric API and Forge Config API Port. Files are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 8 release versions, 1.21.4 – 1.21.11, under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the project is open source with public source code and an issue tracker.
Key features
Runtime asset generation
Assets and data are created dynamically during play, so the content can depend on which other mods are loaded.
Generator compatibility
The generators follow the original ARRP, so code written for that library needs only small syntax changes.
Resource pack layering
Generated packs sit below other resource packs, which can override them, but cannot override resources from other mods.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Requirements

How it compares
Better Runtime Resource Pack (BRRP) is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and runs on Fabric and Forge for 1.16.2 – 1.21.1, with client or server optional. YARRP is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and supports Fabric and NeoForge for 1.20.5 – 1.21.1, also with client or server optional. ARRP Different covers 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 and needs Client and server, so both sides must run it.
