What it does

Pigeons spawn in the world and occasionally drop items, and each pigeon type drops a different set of items, documented on the wiki. The mod also lets players build farms that use pigeons as a source of items. Pigeons are cute, and they scare spiders away from the area they inhabit. The mod is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It requires Fabric API, and the code is open source under the MIT License. Files cover 1.18 – 1.19 on Fabric.
