Crops Love Rain
With Crops Love Rain installed, wheat, carrots, saplings and sugar cane grow faster whenever it is raining.
What it does
The mod speeds up growth for soil-based crops such as wheat and carrots, for saplings, and for sugar cane. Growth only changes while rain falls, so dry weather plays out as it does in vanilla. Crops Love Rain requires Fabric API and Forge Config API Port, and it is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt.
Server owners install it, and players connect with no copy of their own. The code is open source under the MIT License. Files cover game versions 1.18 – 26.3, with snapshot builds published alongside the releases. Earlier releases are no longer supported, and the latest file is 3.2.1+26.1 for 26.3, dated 2026-03-25.

Saplings and sugar cane
Saplings and sugar cane also gain the rain bonus, so tree and cane farms benefit from wet weather.
In-game settings screen
Growth speed can be adjusted through a settings screen opened from the game's mod list.
Config file editing
The same settings can be changed by editing the mod's config file directly.
