RTS Map Command Recruits
RTS Map Command Recruits lets players give Total War-style orders to Recruits armies on the world map, using the Villager Recruits mod as its base.
What it does
Recruit groups are controlled through the map. Each group is shown as a single tactical icon, and a player can issue click-to-move orders along queued waypoints, set attack or strategic-fire orders, adjust stance and fire controls, and use formation hotkeys. A movement arrow traces the group's current position through its queued waypoints, so a route can be read at a glance.
Members of a group that end up far apart are split into separate controllable sub-groups, and each sub-group keeps its own icon. Icons follow the group's configured image and icon setup, use relation outline colors, and scale with the map zoom. Orders are checked on the server before they take effect, so the server stays authoritative over what the recruits do.
The addon requires Villager Recruits, which provides the recruit armies it commands. The mod is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Its files are released under All rights reserved and the mod is not open source.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who run Villager Recruits armies and want to direct them from the world map, and server owners who want map-level control of recruit forces on a shared server.
How it compares
Recruits Upgrades is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server for 1.20.1, so it extends the recruit side rather than the map. Journey Recruits is open source under the MIT License, client-side only and published for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, so only the client needs it. Recruits-Extras is also under the MIT License and runs on client and server, with files for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, but it is not open source.
