Real Working Villagers
by Melworks
Real Working Villagers changes how villagers spend their days, giving each profession a daily routine tied to its workplace on Fabric.
What it does
Villagers follow profession-based routines in which their work is visible. A villager at a workstation handles the job, and when work time comes, a fishing villager walks to the water, casts a line and stores the catch in nearby barrels. Armorers, toolsmiths and weaponsmiths carry on their trades at their own sites, so the village shows activity through the day instead of idling in one spot.
Every profession's workstation gets small themed decorations, and the arrangement shifts over the course of the game so that a job site never looks the same two days running. The brain change is lightweight and aims to keep villages close to vanilla while letting them feel more alive. Installation needs Fabric API. The environment is Client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is published for 26.1.2 and 26.2 under the MIT License, which is not open source.
