With Pixelshot, a player can take high-resolution screenshots and panoramic shots of the world from a fixed orthographic camera.

What it does

Pixelshot adds an adjustable orthographic camera that renders the world in a clean isometric view, a high-resolution screenshot mode for capturing images at large sizes, and a panoramic mode that produces full 360-degree views usable as a custom main menu background. Camera angles and zoom levels can be switched with preset keys, and the mod is a continuation of the Mineshot project, carried forward with a modern codebase.

The mod runs on the client only, so players install it on their own game and servers do not need it. Required dependencies are Fabric API, Forge Config API Port and Puzzles Lib, and Forge Config Screens is optional. Pixelshot is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 14 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the code is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Fabric API is required on Fabric. Forge Config API Port and Puzzles Lib are also required, and Forge Config Screens is optional.

Do servers need Pixelshot installed?

No. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

Where are the settings stored?

Configuration is edited in the file named after the mod ID in the config folder of the Minecraft directory, and Mod Menu can open it in-game.
