Overlord Ai Mod
by Antara89
Overlord Ai Mod lets an AI connected to a local Ollama server act inside a Minecraft world when players ask it through chat.
What it does
Players type requests in chat and the AI, running on a local Ollama server, can carry them out in the world. The mod connects to Ollama, so a model must be pulled and created before use. The included Modelfile is used to create the Overlord model.
The AI only performs actions for the player who made the request, and only when that player has enough mana. Requests can set the weather or the time of day, restore health for players who are online, pull a named player over to the person who asked, hand the item held in the main hand to another connected player, give a health bonus that keeps players out of sight of hostile mobs, or call down lightning on a player.
Overlord Ai Mod runs on Fabric and NeoForge and is published for 1.21.1 and 1.21.8, with Fabric and NeoForge files for 1.21.1 released under All rights reserved. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The latest Fabric file is 1.2.6 for 1.21.1, and the latest NeoForge file is 1.0.1 for 1.21.1, a beta release.
Key features
Chat requests
Requests such as making it day, healing a player or rescuing a named player are typed in chat and followed by the AI.
Mana-gated actions
The AI acts only when the requester has sufficient mana, so the actions cost something before they happen.
World effects
Weather and time of day can be changed, players can be healed or struck by lightning, and items can be sent between players.
Local Ollama connection
The AI runs through a local Ollama server, with an included Modelfile that creates the Overlord model after the base model is pulled.
