MC-AI-Build-Assistant
by fyzugx
MC-AI-Build-Assistant lets players describe a structure in plain language and have an Ollama or OpenAI-compatible model turn that request into placed blocks.
What it does
Players press O to open the AI Builder screen, pick a provider such as a local Ollama instance or an OpenAI-compatible API, and type what they want built. The model proposes a plan, and nothing is placed until the player has approved it. Most settings are handled through the user interface rather than a configuration file.
The mod works with both local Ollama and OpenAI-compatible endpoints, so a player can keep requests on their own machine or send them to a hosted service. Blocks are placed in real time once approved, which makes it possible to check each step against the description. The mod runs on Fabric and needs Fabric API. It is client-side only, so the server does not need it, and it is released under the MIT License but is not open source.
Key features
Natural language building
A structure is requested by describing what the player wants built, and the model turns that text into a build plan.
Approval before placement
The proposed decisions are shown first, and blocks are placed only after the player approves them.
Provider choice
The AI Builder screen lets the player select Ollama or an OpenAI-compatible provider for each session.
Real-time block placement
Approved blocks appear in the world as the build runs, so progress can be watched and stopped if needed.

Use cases
Prototyping a building
A player who wants a quick layout can describe it and check the proposed result before committing blocks to the world.
Keeping requests local
Running an Ollama model on the player's own computer keeps build descriptions off external services.
Who it’s for: Single-player and multiplayer players on Fabric who want to draft structures from text descriptions and are willing to set up an Ollama instance or an API key.
