OverflowParticles (Particles Mod)
by Polyfrost
Players who want less visual clutter can use OverflowParticles, which gives every particle type its own settings for size, color, count and visibility.
What it does
Each particle type in OverflowParticles has separate options. A player can hide a type completely, retint it, replace its color, scale it between half size and five times normal, multiply how many spawn up to tenfold, or fade it out toward the end of its life. Block particles have their own group, including toggles for the ones created when blocks are mined or broken and when entities land.
OverflowParticles only alters what is drawn on screen; it does not change gameplay, world data or what other players see. Crit and sharpness particles can be forced to appear even on ordinary hits, and a Clean View option removes the player's own potion particles in first person. Particles can also be set to pass through blocks.
The mod is a client-side utility. OverflowParticles needs OneConfig and Fabric Language Kotlin on every loader, and the Fabric builds also need Fabric API. OneConfig is bundled inside the mod. Builds exist for 1.8.9, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and Ornithe, and it uses a custom license that is not open source.
