Chatting (Chat Animations + More)

With Chatting, players filter their chat through custom tabs, search past messages and copy any line with a key combination, all inside the normal chat window.
What it does
Chatting reworks the Minecraft chat window and adds tools to it. The default tabs ALL, PARTY, GUILD and PM are made for Hypixel, and any text typed while a tab is selected is sent to that channel, so the /pc command is no longer needed. Players can create their own tabs from prefix, suffix, substring and regex rules, and a restriction keeps tabs visible only on Hypixel unless it is turned off.
The mod runs on Fabric, Forge and Ornithe, with files for 1.8.9 and for 26.3 among the twelve release versions it supports. It is client-side only, so servers do not need it. Its custom license means the project is not open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Chatting requires Compose Multiplatform, Fabric Language Kotlin and OneConfig; OneConfig is also bundled inside the mod.

Multi-tab selection
Holding shift while clicking a tab selects several tabs at once, so one message can be read across channels together.
Custom tab rules
Tabs can be built from prefix, suffix, substring and regex rules, with a separate guide describing how to write them.
Chat search
Any text can be searched within the chat history to find an earlier message quickly.
One-button history clear
A single button removes the whole chat history at once.
Copy by shortcut
Ctrl with a right click copies the message under the cursor to the clipboard.
HUD placement and sizing
The chat can be moved and scaled in the OneConfig HUD editor, with an exact width and separate heights for open and closed states.
