OneConfig
by Polyfrost
OneConfig is a configuration library that gives mod developers a config API and gives players a single screen for the settings of every mod built on it.
What it does
Mods that use the library expose their options through one shared settings screen, so players change settings without opening separate menus for each mod. Developers call the config API instead of building their own settings interface. Profiles keep a separate copy of mod settings, and a HUD editor moves, scales and restyles the HUD elements of supporting mods.
OneConfig requires Compose Multiplatform and Fabric Language Kotlin. On Fabric it also needs Fabric API, and on Ornithe it needs OSL, the Ornithe Standard Libraries. Builds cover Minecraft 1.8.9 on Ornithe and 1.21.1 – 26.3 on Fabric, with 66 other mods requiring the library. It is installed on the player's side alone, so servers need nothing.
Key features
Shared settings screen
Options from every supporting mod appear in one place, so players do not have to hunt through separate menus.
HUD editor
Positions, scale and style of HUD elements from supporting mods can be adjusted from one editor.
Profiles
Each profile keeps its own copy of mod settings, so one setup can be swapped for another.
Developer settings integration
Mod authors add their options to the shared screen through the library's API instead of building a settings interface.

Use cases
Players using several config-driven mods
A player with many mods that support OneConfig adjusts all of them from a single screen instead of separate menus.
Mod developers
Developers who want a consistent settings screen for their mods can build on the library's API.
Who it’s for: Players who run HUD and quality-of-life mods that support the library, and mod developers who want a shared settings interface. Players on servers do not need to install it, since it is client-side only.
