Ore Extraction
Ore Extraction changes how stone, deepslate, Nether and End ores drop when mined, so a block's ore can be taken from a broken stone instead of cobblestone.
What it does
Ore Extraction replaces the drop of ore blocks with the ore item itself. Stone ores yield in place of cobblestone, deepslate ores in place of cobbled deepslate, Nether ores in place of netherrack, and blackstone ores such as Gilded Blackstone in place of blackstone. End ores replace the endstone drop, which is a fifth tag next to the four categories the mod uses for base blocks.
The mod works by creating tags for base blocks and sorting them into four categories, then adding an End tag. An ore block dropped by a normal pickaxe is possible unlike diamond ore, where the mod keeps the ore's normal drop. Silk Touch still returns the ore block itself, as it does in vanilla. Extracted ore goes to the player's inventory when there is enough room, otherwise it drops as an item.
Fabric API is required. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and it runs only in a server environment. Files are published for Fabric only, across 12 release versions 1.20 – 1.21.4, with 4.0.1+1.21.2 for 1.21.4 as the latest, and snapshot builds are also published. The mod is not open source and is released under All rights reserved. Forge support is planned.

What the author says
Extract the ore and have it be replaced by it's base block! This mod is inspired by the OreExtraction plugin made by IceWolf23X. Note: Silk Touch will drop the block as normal.
